Barbie originally founded a home furnishings store in 1999 to serve Houston clients, and 25 years later, her daughter Jennifer is starting a new chapter with a second location in Prosper, Texas, opening in 2024.
Building upon a beautiful design legacy, Barbie’s House offers fine home furnishings, decor, gifts and design services to clients in North Dallas.

How the process works

Consultation. We will meet for about an hour in your home or business to discuss your project goals. Photos and measurements may also be taken. We will then begin our work to design your space!
Design Plan Presentation. All decision-makers will review a formal design plan for the project, incorporating 3D plans, dollhouse views, mood boards and furniture plans. Initial budgets will be reviewed, and plan adjustments will be discussed.
Approval. Once the design plan is approved, you will sign the contract and pay a deposit.

Ordering. We will begin working with our vendors to order the pieces for your project and coordinating delivery logistics. We will be in frequent communication with project updates.
Reveal! We will schedule a date for delivery and install. This is the fun day, and we can't wait to show you your dream house!
